In accordance with the Texas State Plan for the Education of Gifted/Talented students, Harmony Public Schools will begin taking nominations for all interested students in grades 1-12 for gifted and talented screening. Anyone interested in the educational welfare of these students may nominate them for assessment.
Nomination forms are available at the front office or may be downloaded from our school website https://hsicarrollton.harmonytx.org

We invite all parents to attend parent-teacher conferences on Friday, Feb. 9. 1:00- 6:00 pm. Please email your child’s homeroom teacher if you need more information about this event or need to reschedule a conference time for another day.

Dear HSI-Families,
Students and Staff are back on campus and the regular schedule is already underway as we have been advised it is safe. The issue was in one Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning unit (HVAC unit). The Kinder and 1st grade assembly has been rescheduled, the details will be sent to those families as soon as possible. I am very proud of our students for outstanding behavior during this transition. We would also like to thank our Parents and Harmony Science Academy of Carrollton for all your help today.

Dear HSI-Families;
This morning a teacher notified Administration that one classroom smelled like gas. Immediately Atmos was contacted and are on campus now. At this time all students and staff are in the Middle/High building as Atmos advised. We will notify all parents as to the outcome of Atmos’ findings. If they advise to remain out of the building we will have an early dismissal. Please watch for our next communication update.

The month of January is the nomination period for the GT program at Harmony School of Innovation. Teachers, parents, and others may nominate a student for GT testing. This nomination period is open to the whole school unless a student tested during our fall 2016 testing period. Students may not test twice in one school year. Nomination forms are in English and Spanish. Please fill out the 2-page form in its entirety, sign it and submit the nomination form to the office or Miss Carrone.
