Dear Tiger Families
We’re excited to announce that our school will be hosting its 2nd Dyslexia Academy on Thursday, April 25th. This event will be for our K-5 elementary parents, students, and teachers. The goal of this event is to raise awareness about dyslexia in order to help identify our struggling students as soon as possible.
There are many ways to help your students with Dyslexia for this event:
– Be there (We would appreciate your presence to show support!)
– Donate any item to our potluck (Please bring donations to the front office by Wednesday, April 24th)
– Invite others to spread the awareness

The 4th grade Writing STAAR test will be tomorrow, April 9. The 5th graders will be STAAR testing tomorrow as well. The Math test will be on Tuesday, April 9th, and the Reading test will be on Wednesday, April 10th.
No visitors will be allowed on campus. Please make sure your student gets a good night’s rest and a good breakfast!
For testing days make sure your student does NOT bring the following to school:
No Backpacks
No Watches/Smart Watches
No Phones or other electronic devices
Students are allowed to bring:
A small snack (healthy)
A water bottle
Pencils/Erasers
Book to read when testing is done
Please contact your classroom teacher if you have any questions!
