Following TEA’s announcement of the new accountability system, we started a redesign process for our performance bonus structures to align with the new accountability measures in school year 2018-2019. Based on feedback collected through surveys and deeper discussions in our bonus redesign committee meetings, we came up with a set of proposed changes to the current bonus plan. We are now in the public commenting period to collect final recommendations on these proposed changes before the new bonus system is presented to HPS Board of Directors for approval in June.
